Muhammad Shobaruddin se graduó en la Maestría de Estudios de Asia y el Pacífico (MAPS) de la Universidad de Thammasat (Tailandia) en 2019. Su preocupación es escrutar la industria pesquera de Asia y el Pacífico desde el punto de vista político-económico. Recientemente, trabaja como profesor e investigador en la Universidad Islámica del Estado de Walisongo (Indonesia).
