Autorenporträt
Aïcha Bennour is a prolific Algerian novelist and short-story writer. Talented, she has published her books both in Algeria and abroad. Some of her works have been translated into French and English. She also contributed seminal papers to several periodicals dealing with women's and children's issues. She received many awards, including The First International Prize in Women's Writing, granted by the US Union of Writers, in May 2017.
