Payal Sareen was born in 2001 in Surrey, British Columbia. Growing up she was exposed to the art of poetry at a young age. She quickly became fascinated with this art form and took it on as a passion, among others. Payal views her poetry as an extension of her feelings and aims for her readers to find solace within her poems. In The Cards We Hold, Payal embraces growth and writes on the personal experiences that have helped shape her. The Cards We Hold is Payal's first poetry book.
