Since 2008, former nurse Colin Norris has been serving life sentence with a recommendation that he serve a minimum 30 years in prison. He was convicted of the murder and attempted murder of five Leeds hospital patients by injecting them with insulin. He has consistently protested his innocence. This booklet details the facts of his case including new research which casts serious doubt on the scientific and medical evidence which helped to convict him. The case of Colin Norris highlights the danger that conclusion-driven investigations in the wake of the crimes of serial killer Dr Harold Shipman may lead to the conviction of innocent people for murders which never happened.
