Tom Meschery is an ex-NBA player for the Golden State Warriors and Seattle Sonics and retired high school and college English teacher. A graduate of the University of Iowa's Writers Workshop, he has published five collections of poetry. Meschery had been inducted in the Nevada Writers' Hall of Fame. He has also traveled extensively in West Africa coaching basketball and lecturing. The Case of the "61 Chevy Impala is the first of his Brovelli Brothers Mystery series. The Case of the '66 Ford Mustang is the second novel in the Brovelli Brothers' series. Tom Meschery lives in Sacramento, CA with his wife, the painter, Melanie Marchant
