Melondy Roberson works to provide districts with support to ensure students are successful throughout various Special Education programs in her assigned region. Melondy received her Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University in Elementary Education. She later obtained her Master of Science degree in Educational Technology and School Administration from Lamar University, Beaumont. Melondy grew up in Orange, Texas where she developed a love for writing at an early age. Melondy is the poetic author of Just Simply Me, A Journey Traveled, and The Power of Words: Speaking the Vision. She continues to write inspirational poetry and literature that uplifts the hearts and minds of people in many forms. In children's literature, Melondy is the author of the mini Adriann series featuring Adriann Takes a Stand, Adriann's Choice, and Adriann's Test Anxiety illustrated by her older sister Roszella Roberson-Offord. In addition to, Melondy has written, The Case of the Loose Tooth and Daddy's Fishing Buddy both coauthored with James Ural.
