Produktbeschreibung
The Caspian region is increasingly turning into a zone of pre-determined conflicts and confrontation between various actors claiming to take leading positions and become the main moderator of decision-making on geopolitical and geoeconomic issues. The book deals with the topical aspects of the Caspian issues, which the littoral countries are solving at the present stage. The author has attempted to provide an analysis of existing approaches to solving the "Caspian issue". Taking into consideration the complex nature of the "Caspian issue", the author notes that the hindering factor in its solution is the erroneous perception and understanding of the set of problems as purely regional, not going beyond the territories of the five littoral states. In addition, the author focuses on the analysis of the internationalist approach to solving all aspects of the Caspian problems, based on the involvement of a wider range of interested global and regional players, as well as international organizations. The book is intended for specialists as well as for a wide range of readers interested in Caspian issues.
