Autorenporträt
Mukaddes Esrefoglu schloss 1988 ihr Studium an der medizinischen Fakultät der Atatürk-Universität ab. Sie ist Professorin in der Abteilung für Histologie und Embryologie der Medizinischen Fakultät der Bezmialem Vakif Universität in Istanbul und hat neben einem Gedichtband auch mehrere Bücher über Histologie und Embryologie veröffentlicht. Professor Esrefoglu hat eine Tochter, die sie wie folgt beschreibt: "Sie ist die Sonne meines Lebens.
