Autorenporträt
Dr.Yasmine Zahran was born in Ramallah, Palestine. She was educated at Colombia University, New York, and the University of London, and received a doctorate in archae- ology at the Sorbonne, Paris.She worked for UNESCO for a number of years and establi- shed, directed and taught at the postgradu- ate institute of Archaeology in Jerusalem from 1991 to 1995. Dr. Zahran is the author of Septimus Severus: Countdown to death, Philip the Arab, Zenobia: Between Reality and Legend, Ghassan resurrected, The Lach- mids of Hira: Sons of the Water of Heave, Lament for Jerusalem: The Sack of Jerusalem in AI, and A Beggar at Damascus Gate.
