The aim of this work is to investigate the challenge of the Pedagogical Coordinator: Encounters and Disencounters in Public and Private Education in the municipality of Jequié, detecting the focus of their work, as well as reflecting on the challenges and conflicts faced in their practice that permeate the daily life of this professional in the school community. Knowing that this professional's field of action is very broad, and involves everything from activities related to curricular components, learning and the construction of knowledge, discipline, ethics, assessment, teaching materials to interaction with the community. We will also emphasise the importance of the Pedagogical Coordinator's role, as he or she is the professional responsible for forming and maintaining a cohesive school team, committed and firm in the purpose assumed in the school unit's work proposal.
