It is known that information technology has become the business enabler for many organizations, as they are aware of IT's value to their business strategies. For that, it is important to know how IT can be controlled, managed, monitored, and governed in such a way to enable enterprises to compete through innovation and efficiency; thus the importance of IT governance (ITG) and its implementation using best practices. However, this implementation is not devoid of challenges, which range from the general to the complex. This book, therefore, is provides organizations and academia with insights into the main challenges in implementing COBIT and related practices in various countries and in the UAE in particular.
