Everyone has insecurities. Like with most insecurities-especially those that are not self-inflicted-we don't tend to "fix" or "get over" them; they are always with us and a part of who we are. However, if we are honest with ourselves, we can recognize them, understand them, and seek to find a way to live our most authentic lives free from the chaos they often create. Alex Geesbreght's The Chaos Parallel: How to Overcome the Life-Altering Effects of Insecurity allows us to see the world as it is, not as we wish it were. Readers will learn to search for and recognize "The Thing Behind the Thing"-in other words, the "why" behind the shiny object in front of them. The Chaos Parallel highlights the tremendous impact our insecurities have on our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions, which often have deleterious effects on our relationships with family, friends, co-workers, and most importantly, ourselves.
