Meet Star! Raised by her Grandmother Ann in the brutal areas of Philadelphia. Star had learned her mother would be returning home from prison, after many years of struggling with drug addiction and a violent lifestyle. A 32-year- old drug Lord in the streets of Kensington, a neighborhood in Philly. Ann decided she could no longer deal with Star's choices. That's when Star was forced to face life on her own.
