In the kingdom of Chessland, two chess queens, one white and the other black piece, and they used to be childhood friends, but later they both fell in love with a young king. The young, handsome king chose the Black Queen as his bride, but the White Queen felt rejected by the young king's refusal to marry her, and that led her to hold them accountable. The White Queen married another king, and she manipulated her old husband to believe that the Black Queen and the young king were a threat, and she led her troops to the castle where the young king and Black Queen lived. The story revolves around the rivalry between the White Queen and the Black Queen and how they spend their days plotting and strategizing, sacrificing knights and bishops to capture their opponent. They never included pawns in their army, viewing them as belonging to a lower social class. After waging war for years and enduring a long and brutal war, they were unable to defeat each other, and so they reached a stalemate. During this time, a pawn was born in a cave, guarded by two devoted knights who promised to keep it safe because they believed in the prophecy that foretold that a pawn would become Queen and bring peace to the land of Chess. One night, the two queens had the same dream of a stranded pawn, and they felt the need to rescue the pawn from two evil knights, and they embarked on a journey to find the pawn, facing numerous obstacles and challenges along the way. They arrive at the same time at the cave and accuse each other of lying, stealing, and murdering, but each believes the other unfit to take custody of the pawn. A battle erupted outside the cave, and the pawn decided to go outside and stop the fight of the two queens, but the two knights advised the pawn not to leave the cave.
