Megan Butler is both a mother and a grandmother who was given up for adoption at six weeks old. When Megan gave birth to her first son at the age of twenty-four, she felt very emotional and fiercely protective of her baby boy and could not imagine giving her son away. Megan finally traced her birth mother after an eighteen-year search to find the circumstances surrounding her adoption very surprising and not what she had always imagined. For the past twenty years, Megan has been writing her book and is delighted to finally publish it.
