Autorenporträt
As a Music Teacher, Librarian and Administrator, Christi Korn Finholt has written and arranged songs for over 35 years. Transitioning into writing stories for kids was an easy and natural segue. Christi earned her B.A. in Vocal Music Education and Religion from Luther College, in Decorah, Iowa, and an M.M. in Music Education and Mid-Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She has taught Pre-K to College in 5 states and is now retired and living in San Antonio, Texas. Derek Finholt, her son and co-author is also a graduate from Luther College, with a B.A. in Art and Anthropology, and an M.A. in Museum Studies from George Washington University. He has always had an interest in children's books and now enjoys reading them with his daughter, Anja. About the Illustrator: Adrian Castillo is an artist and illustrator living in Oregon. Adrian holds degrees in both the arts and the humanities from Portland State University.
