Rick Carlos is the owner and operator of SJR Music Studios, a state-of-the-art recording and production studio located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. SJR Music is an acronym for Songs of the Journey in Recorded Music. The company writes, records, and publishes musical resources designed to enhance the quality, effectiveness, and enjoyment of everyday life. Rick holds a BA in music education from New Jersey City University, and he is also a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Rick's unwavering commitment is based on the words found in Colossians 3:23-24 (NKJV), which read: "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Rick is the father of Justin, Jeremy, and Stephanie Carlos. He also is the proud "Pop-Pop" of seven grandchildren.
