Autorenporträt
Vergene "Ginny" Gillman is a retired elementary school teacher from Neenah, WI. She enjoys the great outdoors in Neenah during the summer and in sunny Palm Desert, California, during the winter months. Ginny gives Ruth credit for renewing her interest in creative writing while they attended a writing class together at the Joslyn Senior Center in Palm Desert. Writing about an owl honors Ginny's mother, who loved these curious birds. This is her first published children's book.
