Autorenporträt
My name is Herbert G. Strider. I was born and raised in the Hill District of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in a loving Catholic family. There was nine of us with my grandfather, mother, and father. I went to Catholic schools up to the 11th grade. My father moved the family to Cleveland, Ohio and I finished high school in 1962 in June. Joined the U.S. Airforce and became a het engine technician for 20 years. I retired from the military and went right back to work for the Navy as a jet engine mechanic. I'm a disabled Vietnam veteran. I have a bachelor degree from the Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.
