From this wide intertextual game the spectrum related to the Chronicles of the Indies was selected: Relationship about the antiquities of the Indians, Decades of the New World, the History of the Indies, the general and natural History of the Indies, the History of the Indies, the Life of Admiral don Cristóbal Colón, and the Royal Commentaries of the Incas. The reconstruction of the intertexts made it possible to understand the strategy of intertextual manipulation that made it possible for Roa to erect the polyhedral vision on the figure of Columbus.
