Climate has been the major concern in the present century. The outliers of Climate raised several issues in the fields of geography, economics and politics. Several political conventions and conferences had been carried on to combat the effect of climate change. Kyoto protocol is one such convention where the geography of climate change entered the field of economics and Clean Development Mechanism, a part of Kyoto, invited politics into it. The Study is comparative between the projects of India and Brazil, both of whom had been serious players in the field of the umbrella of Clean Development Mechanism.The Book tries to illustrate and compare between the projects taken up by both the countries in this regard, and analyses the developmental factor lying behind the Mechanism.
