Queen Tati the woman behind the BlackQueen. Lesbian. Christian movement, is a D.C. Native. Graduating from St. John's University with a B.A. in Sports Management, Queen Tati had many challenges and experiences during her college career and in life. Coming out before college, being a basketball manager her freshman year, to ultimately studying abroad in Rome, Italy to teach students English. Many experiences has shaped her into the beautiful woman she has become. When she is not writing she enjoys being an entrepreneur and learning how to become an activist for black women in the LGBTQ community and their true reflection in society and the world. Understanding she did not see anyone like her in the media growing up she decided that she is going to be the person herself, to ensure her community is depicted adequately and accurately.
