Autorenporträt
Marco Ranucci is the Head of the Department of Cardiovascular Anesthesia at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato. Former President of the European Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiologists (EACTA). Founder and former President of the Italian Association of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesiologists (ITACTA). Since 2003, he is Director of the International Course INTERCEPT - International Course on ExtraCorporeal Perfusion Technologies. His main field of interest is hemostasis and coagulation in Critical Care. He is author of more than 300 peer-reviewed articles and particularly of very recent and relevant articles on the topic of this title. Furthermore, Dr. Ranucci is also Editor of 3 monographies: Core Topics in Transesophageal Echocardiography, Cambridge University Press; Oxford Textbook of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia, Oxford University Press; Point-of-Care Tests for Severe Hemorrhage: A Manual for Diagnosis and Treatment, Springer.
