Patricia Okongwu is a teacher. She has spent more than three decades working in the classroom. Patricia completed a creative writing course at the Institute of Children's Literature, Connecticut. She enjoys creating characters in her classroom with her students through storytelling. Her book series, A Weekend at Grandma's, is inspired by her students' storytelling ideas. Patricia hopes that her books bring joy and laughter to families.
