First-time author Amy Josephine Weaver identifies as both a coastal mouse and a farm mouse. She loves surfing in the mornings and pulling up the ever-multiplying weeds in her garden on weekends. Having now lived in 9 states all around the country, the author was inspired to revamp the old Aesop Fable, The Town Mouse, and The Country Mouse, to celebrate the distinct lifestyles she has encountered across the countryside and by the sea.
