Mourad Ahmia is an Algerian career diplomat who has been affiliated with the United Nations and the Group of 77 since 1990. He served in senior diplomatic and professional positions and has published since 2005, under the imprint of Oxford University Press, six volumes of the series entitled The Group of 77 at the United Nations. Mr. Ahmia has been a recipient of numerous awards and distinctions presented by various governments, international organizations, and academic institutions. He is currently the Executive Secretary of the Group of 77 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
