Each color-theme chapter begins with a brief color summary which then segues into an abecedarian presentation of all the lexically verifiable words that fall into that specific color theme. The entries are then further delineated by parts of speech, as in nouns or adjectives, and then even further by hue, shade, or tint, as in being dull, pale, light; mild, medium, moderate; or dark, deep, strong. As an additional feature, most entries are assigned an exclusive six-digit alphanumeric hexadecimal code (hex code) which allows for precise color classification, comparison, confirmation, verification or reproduction on any virtual platform or elsewhere.

Peter Isaacs is a former first team all-American soccer player, a former finalist for the Hermann Award (American collegiate soccer's equivalent to the Heisman Award), a former professional soccer player and a graduate of Howard University in Washington D.C.Born and raised in Jamaica, Peter went to Wolmer's preparatory and high schools in Kingston where his lifetime love affair with words and the English language began before leaving at the tender age of seventeen to attend Howard University on a full scholarship.A quintessential and agelong logophile, he is a voracious reader and researcher who over the last sixteen years has diligently compiled The Logophile's Collection, a comprehensively organized and thematic repository of words that cover almost every area, field, or sphere of life.An athlete turned lexicographer, Peter has published the Dictionary of Colors and Colored Words in addition to The Color Bible.He is the father of three girls, Hadiya, Alexandria, and Amelia.
