Feeling like outcasts amongst their peers, they decide to form a friendship club for sick and disabled children, something Mrs. Brock, the retreat nurse, who loves both girls dearly, has her doubts about at first. The girls' plans start to fall awry when one of them suffers a sudden complication, but by then, their bond has become so well established, with God at the very core, that nothing will ever crumble their friendship.
