Born on September 22, 1978 in Bohicon, Nelly DENAKPO is one of the few young Beninese. She is known for her work on amazons but she is also known as an amazon. She has also written many books on the history of Amazons Dahomey (Benin) in the context of the reappropriation of the values of the amazons.
