Amy Dunedin, a California-born poet, has drawn on years of teaching, reading, and exploring the profound beauty of the north coast counties for the insights and images she brings to her four books of poetry, published under the name Patricia Spicer. The Compact is her first completed novel. She now lives contentedly in Eugene, Oregon.
