Autorenporträt
Mark Kleanthous finishte in über 1000 Wettkämpfen weltweit. Zahlreiche Multisportwettkämpfe konnte er gewinnen, er absolvierte 400 Triathlons, darunter 32 Ironmans, zwei Doppel-Ironmans und einen Triple-Ironman. Außerdem wurde er in einem Marathon zweiter. Einmal absolvierte er sogar zwei Triathlons an einem Tag: Das Rennen am Morgen gewann er und am selben Nachmittag absolvierte er einen zweiten Triathlon.
Er startete für Großbritannien in der Nationalmannschaft und ist nun Altersklassen-athlet. Er hat zahlreiche nationale Titel errungen und begann im Jahre 1998 seine Trainertätigkeit. Er hält nun eine Level 1 und Level 2 Trainerlizenz der britischen Triathlonfederation und betreut sowohl Altersklassen- als auch Elitesportler.
