Jamie Scruggs is the Executive Director of Government Lease Advisors, Inc. (GLA) where he concentrates on government real estate leasing, lease consulting and project management. Jamie has been involved in thousands of government real estate leases in almost every major market in the US as well as build-to-suit projects for regional and national government headquarter facilities. His extensive experience in government real estate leasing includes large volume lease assignments for the US Department of Homeland Security, US Census Bureau, US Federal Emergency Management Administration and many more. Jamie is past president of the Association of Public-Sector Real Estate (APRE), past Midwest Chapter Director of the National Federal Development Association (NFDA) and creator of the popular Government Real Estate Leasing podcast. He holds a BS in Finance from the University of Illinois and is a veteran of the US Navy.
