After moving to Germany in 2009 from Jamaica, I often found a disconnect between how I identify myself and how people identified me. I felt isolated in these feelings until I started speaking openly about it and realized others could relate. Exploring the complexities of how our identities affect our relationships has been a constant theme in my writing. In 2023, I created the podcast -DfnG Podcast- to reach people who moved to Germany and were confronted by surprising realities. I'm on a mission to reduce the discomfort which comes with living in a multi-cultural world, by using my voice so people can feel seen, understood, and collaborate effectively. I currently live in Baden-Württemberg with my husband and my son.
