Produktbeschreibung
The task of philosophy consists in the creation of concepts that problematize what is taken for granted. Hence, this monograph shows how the use of the concept of normalization, created by the philosopher Michel Foucault, made it possible to problematize the school, as an institution, by different academics. This is possible starting from the construction of two problems, namely: first, that in the school politically docile and economically useful individuals are produced, using disciplinary techniques, and second, that from the government of the school population and the use of the means of good channelling this production is kept active. In order to account for this, a reconstruction of the concept of normalization was made from the work "Watching and Punishing" and it is interwoven with some researches, around the school. This exercise of analysis and reconstruction of the use of the concept opens a field of question about the teaching of philosophy, insofar as it has dealt with the historical and technical path of philosophizing and what emerges from it.
