Research Paper (postgraduate) from the year 2019 in the subject Computer Sciences - Internet of Things, IOT, grade: 7, University of Zagreb, language: English, abstract: This work aims to contribute to the concept of sustainable interoperability (SIO) establishment and its implementation, featuring open innovation (OI), sustainable IT systems (SITS), as well as their integration and support to the sustainable information society (SIS). That may have a significant impact to public administration. As the public administration (government, agencies, ministries, state enterprises and institutions) represent more than 20per cent of the EU employees, there is a need to consider the ICT and OI impact for the public sector and for social development. The concept of I3O and this work is based on the development and its contribution to SIO development. This work aims for the I3O concept development, research and description, as well as its contribution to new paradigm development and implementation.Contemporary business, ICT studies and projects, national and cross-national programs and activities are stressing the interoperability in order to ensure systems functionality and sustainability. As one of the critical points of enterprise and public administration functionalities, interoperability ensures communication functioning, but also enterprise development.
