Eula Bourne was born on the beautiful island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. She left the Bahamas in 1969 to study in Canada. She met her husband Godfrey while attending college at Prairie Bible Institute in Alberta, Canada.. They have been married for almost 34 years and have three adult sons and one beautiful granddaughter. She enjoys working with children and has many years of experience in different types of children's programs.These include teaching Sunday school, Pioneers Girls clubs, camp counselor and summer vacation Bible clubs. Her professional career includes teaching high school and pre-school students in her native Bahamas and being the principal of a pre-school for three years. She is now employed at Royal Bank of Canada in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada where she now resides. Her first book "Go Away Winter" is a whimsical personificaton of the confrontation between Winter and Spring and is mostly geared to Canadian readers, while 'The Conchman and the Fisherman" is a delightful conversation between two tradesman, and is geared mainly for Caribbean children, but will be enjoyed by all who read it.
