Beth A. Grimm, J.D., (Attorney) a graduate of John F. Kennedy University of Law in Pleasant Hill, California (in 1988), has been solving homeowner association problems for more than 20 years. She is a recognized authority on homeowners association law who calls upon many years experience in dealing with the problems of homeowners, board members and homeowner associations. An accomplished writer, she offers a plain English explanation of the rights and responsibilities that come with condo living. She has been active in legislation for more than 20 years in her home state (California) and serves as a volunteer speaker and writer for many community association industry groups and real estate groups. She has served as regional chairperson for resource groups in her state such as CAI (Community Associations Institute) and ECHO (Executive Council of Homeowners). She has authored numerous articles, newsletters, and books to help homeowners and boards figure out how homeowners associations operate, and how to solve problems in their home associations. Many of her publications have been published in California and nationally.
