Michele D. Marincola is Sherman Fairchild Distinguished Professor of Conservation, Conservation Center, Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, and is also a Fellow of the International Institute for Conservation. She has published widely in professional journals and is the editor of Polychrome Sculpture: Meaning, Form, Conservation (Getty Publications, 2015). Lucretia Kargère is senior conservator for The Cloisters, Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. She has published widely in professional journals.
