Praising God is incumbent upon the whole human being, and the entirety of the human being encompasses singing. And in this sense, music therefore encompasses the therapeutic aspect which becomes not only in the context of the congregation, but more so in the context of soul care, within the framework of soul care, a tool of restoration, but also of healing for the people of God. Pastoral care in a post-traumatic stress context therefore requires a lot of patience, prudence, and restraint.
