Autorenporträt
Jamie Campbell is a homegrown country girl from North Carolina where her daddy was a tobacco farmer. Working in tobacco made college even more enticing, so she sought refuge at North Carolina State University where she earned a bachelor's degree. She then went on to earn her master's in physician assistant studies. Though Jamie enjoyed the field of medicine and loved her patients, she never felt as comfortable in scrubs as she did overalls. Consequently, Jamie made the decision to hang up her white coat in order to pursue her passion for farming, woodworking, and writing. She and her husband own a thriving live edge table business and stay delightfully busy managing their farm and caring for their children and animals. Jamie especially enjoys their Highland cows, or "coos" as the Scots say. These shaggy, gentle creatures inspired her to write a "coo-lection" of fictional farm adventures, and jumpstarted her career as an author.
