When I was younger, I used to love watching cooking shows on TV. My favorite was always the one where the host would travel to different parts of the world and learn about the local cuisine. I loved seeing all the different ingredients and how they were used in each dish. But what I really loved was hearing about the culture behind the food. Speaking of culture. Soul food was created by Black Americans, and many of these dishes are more than just a meal. It's a way of life. It's a way of connecting with family and friends, of sharing one's culture. That's why I decided to create this cookbook. I wanted to share my love of soul food and culture with Black Americans. I also created this cookbook to share some of my favorite recipes in TUT language to help preserve our culture. TUT language was created by Black Americans (Freedman, American Indian, FBA, ADOS, DOAS, Aboriginals) during the 18th century. TUT is important to Black American culture because it is a way to communicate our history, experiences, and values. It is also a way to connect with our heritage. Gloria Mcllwain published the first book on the TUT language. This book is important because it helped to preserve culture and communication. Mcllwain's book is a valuable resource for those interested in learning more about the TUT language. Her book has been published in American Speech (journal of the American Dialect Society), which is edited and published at Duke University, and the San Jose Mercury News. Thank you for your interest in learning more about the TUT language. I hope that this cookbook will help you to connect with our culture. This book is not an exhaustive list of Black American soul food. I only included what I grew up seeing cooked or cooked myself. We have our own way of cooking our vegetables. meats, and starches. We also created many entrees and desserts. We must always remember how special we are and value our food, language, and our essence. I hope that by reading this book, you'll not only learn how to make some delicious dishes but also gain a better understanding of the culture behind them. I hope you enjoy it! Love, Kali J.N.S
