Effective coordination is determined by many factors ranging from the legal and policy framework, power relations among the partners to institutional and personal interests of the partners involved. This study assess the coordination of relief and development efforts among NGOs and between NGOs and Kammengo local government, in Mpigi District in central Uganda. It provides recommendations for effective coordination of relief and local development efforts.
