Nicole Colling-Jorissen, 1966 geboren, aufgewachsen in Meerbusch - Büderich, studierte Biologie und Medizin bis zur Geburt ihres 1. Kindes 1992. Mittlerweile haben ihr Mann und sie 10 Kinder und betreiben einen Dressurausbildungsstall in Belgien. Die Coronasoldaten aus dem Virusland ist das 2. Buch nach dem Schnullermann. Dieses hat sie zusammen mit ihrem Vater, der für die Illustrationen damals zuständig war, geschrieben.
