Before Stephanie's seventh birthday, childhood trauma had sown seeds of self-hatred deep in her heart. Stephanie-whose name means "crown"-struggled to love herself, much less embrace her identity as a daughter of her heavenly Father who loved her. For years, she kept her pain hidden from her big family, loving parents, and vibrant church community. In the meantime, her search for love led her into abusive relationships time and time again, culminating in a daring rescue by those who loved her best. Stephanie's story describes her journey from victim to victor, from villainess to compassionate protector, and from bondage to liberty. For years, Stephanie asked the question, "Am I worthy of love?" The answer, when she was finally ready to embrace it, healed her heart and transformed her life.
