Similar to the works of David Dodge and Leslie Charteris, Davide Mana's The Corsair series moves along the same lines of an old television show called "The Persuaders". Chock full of thrills and adventure, a drop of noir, and a little humor with a tough-as-nails hero that has all the savvy of a Travis McGee and suave demeanor of TV's Lovejoy. He chats with the reader, outwits the bad guys, pulls in the beautiful ladies, and maybe make a buck or two while he's at it. All set in the 1950s Mediterranean.
