Tim Copeland, FSA taught archaeology at the Universities of Bristol and Gloucestershire. He is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, and Chairman of the Council of Europe's Cultural Heritage Committee. He is the author of Akeman Street: Moving through Iron Age and Roman Landscapes and Roman Gloucestershire, and lives in Cheltenham.
