Often the habits and customs make the woman herself underestimate herself and the society thinks that she is a weak being unable to contribute to the development activities. Thus, I am writing this book so that each reader can see the actions of women through their experiences in the field in the neighborhoods of the city of Goma which were very poor and that today the population of these neighborhoods is aware of seeing the unhealthy environments that have become healthy today thanks to the courage of women. I hope that all readers of this book will be able to appropriate and put into practice the experience of the women in their turn. How did this initiative start? The mobilization of women led to the creation of FUDEI, an association that bears the name of United Women for Endogenous and Integral Development without including men. You will find in this book that it is possible to contribute to the salubrity of the environment by the initiative of the women to fight against thediseases of the dirty hands and to contribute to the pacification whose conflicts were caused by the me management of waste. The particularity of this book lies in its originality.
