The Cries of the Motherless Child is a collection of poetry that explores the first year of mourning through biblical, environmental and mythological allusions. What are survivors left with? How does one go on with their life and create a new normal? The author struggles to find these answers while describing the effects of grief, time, loss, and stolen tomorrows.
