About the author: Christina Paolella is an Early Childhood Educator whose career began over a decade ago when she realized her love and passion for working with children. Throughout the years, she has worked with many different age groups, and one common thread that she has found is a child's innate interest in books and story time. With each child being so wonderfully unique, it can be tricky for them to find books that spark their personal interests. This observation, partnered with the birth of her son, has inspired Christina to write a book series with characters that are both engaging and relatable. Her main goal is to help foster even one child's love for reading. About the illustrator: Sonia Tona has been infatuated with the subject of art ever since she was a small child. Sonia took art courses throughout all her school years, and when she was in courses that had nothing to do with art, she would doodle all of her study notes in order to retain information. Growing up and working as a swimming instructor along with working in several daycares, being a babysitter and then becoming a mother, Sonia has learned to adapt her passion for art into a means to teach, care, and inspire children.
