Christianity believes that every religion, faith and religious organization - aside from Christianity - is a cult. In actuality, by its very definition, every religion is a cult, including the religion - the cult - of Christianity. In his bold yet controversial new book, The Cult of Christianity, Mike Williams takes on the religious dogmas, oral traditions, borrowed myths and outright lies that make up so much of what Christians believe, and from which they need to be freed. Biblical literalism, a relatively new way of interpreting the Bible, which would be completely foreign to the First Century Christians of the New Testament, is strangling Christianity and killing the Church. ¿ Did Jesus really talk about hell more than He talked about Heaven? ¿ Find out what the four Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek words that have been translated "hell" actually mean, and how they differ from what we think. ¿ Who or what is the devil? From where did the concept originate? Is it a literal being trying to destroy your soul? Or is it something else entirely? ¿ Why are Christians so devoted to the devil and the idea of hell? ¿ Where did Jesus get His name? ¿ Is God religious? ¿ Learn about the rise of Christian Nationalism and the negative impact it has had on the Christian church. ¿ Discover the origins of Bishop Carlton Pearson's "The Gospel of Inclusion." Is it New Age? Is it new at all? What would the early church fathers have thought about Inclusion and Ultimate Reconciliation? ¿ What did the Apostle Paul say about religion? Learn the answers to these questions and so much more in the pages of this powerful, enlightening, liberating book, that reveals just how far Christianity has gotten away from the Christ for whom it it named, as MIKE WILLIAMS takes you out of religious understanding and activity into true kingdom, spirituality. You will discover the truths that may first make you mad, but will ultimately make you free.

Autorenporträt
Mike Williams delivers a prophetic, cutting-edge message, which will challenge the comfort and complacency of everyone who hears it, as he tries to help the church move from religious understanding and activity to true kingdom spirituality. In May 1995, Mike began traveling extensively as the road manager of Bishop Carlton Pearson, senior pastor of Higher Dimensions Ministries and founder of the world-acclaimed AZUSA Conference, later becoming the managing editor of Carlton's magazine, Dimensions Digest, and the producer and editor of Bishop Pearson's national and international television broadcast. The Christian world subsequently opened up to Mike, eventually producing, editing and filming television programs and commercials for some of the most well-known ministries on the planet, such as Bishop T. D. Jakes, Bishop Noel Jones, Bishop George Bloomer, Bishop Paul S. Morton, Sr., Dr. Jamal Harrison Bryant and many others, while continuing to produce various projects and programs for Bishop Pearson as well. Mike continues to produce and edit television programming for a number of well-known and some not-as-well-known ministries through his television production company, Aces High Studios, and is also the founder and president of Aces High Publishing, publishing books, ebooks, audiobooks and other projects for ministries, business people and others from around the world. Upon the passing of Mike's mentor, pastor, bishop and dear friend for more than 30 years, Bishop Carlton Pearson, in November 2023, doors that had previously been closed to Mike's preaching ministry, because of his unapologetic loyalty and support to Bishop Pearson and the message of Inclusion, began to fly open again, and Mike has been traveling extensively, preaching a new message under a new anointing. Though ordained in 1997, by Bishop Carlton Pearson through the Azusa Interdenominational Fellowship of Christian Churches and Ministries, Inc., Mike was ordained again in 2024, this time as a pastor into the International Communion of Expanding Consciousness under the leadership of Bishop D. E. Paulk, the nephew of the late Bishop Earl Paulk (pastor of Chapel Hill Harvester Church, a.k.a. the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Decatur, Georgia) and a spiritual son of Bishop Carlton Pearson.Mike is also the author of Drop Dead: Dying to the Fleshly Nature, which encourages Christians to maximize their lives by getting ready to lose them through the biblical principle of dying to self.Today Mike operates his affirming, radically-inclusive ministry, Establishing the Kingdom, International, based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and assists Bishop Paulk in architecting this move, message and mandate in churches and interfaith communities, both domestically and abroad.
